EM118089/90/91 and EM519032/33/24 are ev charging energy meters with MID approved ,  so they are also named as MID certified meters, intended for energy measurements in the single phase and three phase electrical charger station. 

Eichrecht is a German law that defines the requirements for all measuring devices such as petrol pumps and electricity meters. Measuring devices that do not conform to this law may not be used for commercial purposes. For us, this means that our electricity meters must make sure that the quantities delivered correspond to the actual volume. In short: Electricity meters must be calibrated so that one kWh always corresponds to one kWh. Besides this, consumers should be provided the ability to check if their invoice is accurate. This way they can make sure they were charged for the correct amount of energy and that data from the charging station was not modified by a third party such as a Charge Point Operator or an E-mobility Service Provider.To meet these requirements, charging stations must have a certified energy meter that correctly calibrates the kWh energy used and physically displays this value to consumers. The charging station encrypts this information before sending it to other systems, in order to prevent third parties from changing the data. They are also fully compliant with the German Eichrecht standard with main features as follow:
