In the EV charging industry, the IVY company provides EV charger components for Mode 2.3.4(Level 2.3) charging stations. IVY rcd sensor can monitor the charging current supply to the electric vehicle and output an alarm signal if a smooth DC residual current of more than 6 mA. The product with both AC and DC detection can be seen as a combined type-A RCD compliant to IEC 60947-2-(M) and RDC-MD compliant to IEC 62955. CE-EMC/IEC has evaluated these safety features and enables the integrator to provide an already approved safety solution in their EVSE.
